برطانوی ویب سائٹ ”ڈیلی میل“ کے مطابق چین کے سب سے زیادہ متاثرہ شہر ” ووہان “میں ہونے والی ایک تحقیق میں انکشاف ہواہے کہ بلڈ گروپ (A)” اے “ والے افراد کے کورونا وائرس سے متاثر ہونے کے سب سے زیادہ امکانات ہیں جبکہ دوسری طرف جن افراد کا بلڈ گروپ ” او“ (O) ہے ان کے کورونا وائرس سے متاثر ہونے کے  کم امکانات ہیں ۔ یہ انکشاف چین میں کورونا وائرس سے متاثر ہونے والے افراد پر کی جانے والی تحقیق کے دوران ہوا ہے ۔ ڈیلی میل کا اپنی رپورٹ میں کہناتھا کہ تحقیق کے مطابق ووہان کی آباد ی میں 34 فیصد لوگوں میں بلڈ گروپ ” او “(O) پایا جاتا ہے جبکہ بلڈ گروپ ”اے “ رکھنے والے لوگوں کی شرح 32 فیصد ہے ۔ کورونا وائرس سے متاثرہ افراد کی فہرست میں جن لوگوں کا بلڈ گروپ ”او“ تھا ان کی شرح 25 فیصد رہی جبکہ دوسری جانب بلڈ گروپ ” اے “ والے افراد کی شرح 41 فیصد تھی ۔

چین کے صوبے ” ہوبائے “ میں تین ہسپتالوں سے محققین نے کورونا وائرس سے متاثر ہونے والے 2 ہزار 173 افراد کے نمونے حاصل کیے جن میں وائرس کے باعث ہلاک ہونے والے 206 افراد بھی شامل تھے ۔تحقیق کے دوران ان افرادکے نمونوں کا موازنا وووہان میں ہی موجود 3694 صحت مند افراد کے نمونوں کے ساتھ کیا گیا جو کہ اسی علاقے میں رہ رہے تھے ۔ مرنے والے 206 افراد میں سے 85 کا بلڈ گروپ ”اے “ (A) تھا جو کہ مجموعی ہلاکتوں کا 41 فیصد ہے جبکہ وائر س کے باعث مرنے والوں میں صرف 52 افراد ایسے تھے جن کا بلڈ گروپ (O) تھا جو کہ اموات کا ایک چوتھائی تھا اور اموات کا25 فیصد بنتا ہے ۔چین کے 11 ملین کی آباد ی والے شہر ووہان میں 34 فیصد لوگ ایسے ہیں جن کا بلڈ گروپ ”اے “ ہے ۔

تحقیق میں بتایا گیاہے کہ بلڈ گروپ ”اے “والے افراد کو اپنا زیادہ خیال رکھنے کی ضرورت ہے تاکہ وائر سے متاثر ہونے کے امکانات کم سے کم ہو ں ، یہ تحقیق آن لائن ”medrxiv“ پر شائع کی گئی ہے ۔ کورونا وائر سے متاثرہ افراد جن کا بلڈ گروپ اے ہے انہیں ممکنہ طور پر زیادہ نگرانی اور جارحانہ علاج کی ضرورت ہوتی ہے ۔ تحقیق کے مطابق چین میں بشمول اموات وائرس سے متاثر ہونے والے تمام افراد میں سے جن افراد کا بلڈ گروپ اے تھا ان کی شرح 38 فیصد رہی جبکہ بلڈگروپ ”او“ والے افراد کی تعداد 26 فیصد تھی۔

”لیبارٹری آف ایکسپریمنٹل ہیماٹولوجی “کے محقق ” گاﺅ ینگ دائی “ نے ” ساوتھ چائنہ مارننگ پوسٹ “ سے بات چیت کرتے ہوئے بتایا کہ یہ تحقیق ممکنہ طور پر طبی حکام کیلئے مدد گار ثابت ہو لیکن عام شہریوں کو اس اعدادو شمار کو بہت زیادہ سنجیدہ لینے کی ضرورت نہیں ہے ۔انہوں نے کہا کہ اگر آپ کا بلڈ گروپ اے ہے تو اس میں پریشان ہونے والی کوئی بات نہیں کیونکہ اس یہ مطلب ہرگز یہ نہیں ہے کہ آپ سو فیصد کورونا سے متاثر ہوں گے ۔اور اگر آپ کا بلڈ گروپ ”او“ہے تو اس کا بھی یہ مطلب نہیں ہے کہ بالکل محفوظ ہیں ، اس لیے آپ کو چاہیے کہ احتیاطی تدابیر اختیار کریں اور اپنے ہاتھ اچھی طرح دھوئیں ۔
